Fruit of Rubus Chingii Hu, family Rosaceae.
Fruits appearing as aggregate fruit (composed of numerous achenes), semi-spherical
or flat-conical, 0.6-1.5 cm long, 0.5-1.5 cm in diameter at the base.
Surface yellow-green to yellow-brown. Achenes densely clustered, apex
small and obtuse, base broad and depressed at the bottom; easily separated.
A single achene appearing as semilunar, covered by white down and reticulate
marks. Sweet and sour in taste, warm in nature, and attributive to liver
and kidney channels.
1. Benefit the kidney, preserve essence and decrease micturition: For
