A leavened preparation of the mixture of Semen Armeniacae Amarum, Herba
Artemisiae Annuae, Fructus Xanthii, wheat bran and flour.
Characteristics
Prepared as square, rectangular of slender compressed pieces with yellow-brown
and coarse surface. Sweet and acrid in taste, warm in nature, and attributive
to spleen and stomach channels.
Indication
1. Strengthen the stomach and promote digestion: For dyspepsia with abdominal
distension, poor appetite, and diarrhea, and as an adjuvant of mineral
drugs.
2. Promote sweating to expel the exogenous evils from the body surface:
For affection of exogenous pathogenic factor complicated by dyspepsia.
Administration Decoction: 10-15g.
