The
whole body (viscera discarded) of Zaocys dhumnades Cantor, family Colubrkiae.
Characteristics
Whole snake coiled as a rounded disc which is more than 10 cm in diameter,
black or brownish, scales 
rhombic.
Head oblate, spine projecting and triangular. Sweet in taste, mild in
nature, mildly toxic, and attributive to liver channels.
Indication
Same as Bungarus Parvus, but less powerful, mostly used for prurigo and
skin infection.

Syn. with Bungarus Parvus.
